Marshall EDC News

This is some blog description about this site

For years we have been telling people what a great place Marshall County, Alabama is to do business.  However, the proof is always in the pudding.  Earlier this year, the MCEDC board approved an idea to move forward with the construction of a gallery at the MCEDC office showcasing a lot of the great products that are manufactured right here in Marshall County.  This has been a fun project for us and we are proud to debut it Friday, December 5th at our Christmas Open House from 4-7PM

Most people do not realize just how many diverse products are made in Marshall County or in Northeast Alabama for that matter.  Many people know that Albertville is the fire hydrant of the world (Mueller, Inc.), but did you realize that if you buy the Wal-Mart SuperTech Motor Oil brand at a Wal-Mart or Sam's Club in the eastern half of the U.S., it was blended and bottled in Guntersville by Warren Distribution?  Heck even the bottle was made there.  Or that every seat that is installed in a Honda Odyssey is made in Boaz by TSTECH Alabama.  The headrests for those seats are made in Arab by HFI, Inc

The new #MARSHALLMADE gallery will showcase these and many other great products.   Our vision for this gallery is for people to learn what a great industrial base and workforce we have here.  When prospective industries visit our office, we can show them these products and they can see right away that Marshall County Means Business!  And business is good!

Over the coming months, we will use this blog and social media to showcase these and many other fine products and companies.  We invite everybody to stop by and visit and we will give you a sampling of what is #MARSHALLMADE!
