RAILWAYS
Marshall County is served by the Alabama-Tennessee Railway, part of OmniTrax, in a trackage lease agreement with CSX. It connects to the CSX and Norfolk Southern lines and is less congested than many other mainline tracks.

Marshall County contains a major U.S. waterway, the Tennessee River, with a navigable depth of 9 feet, which connects to the Tennessee Tom Bigbee Waterway and the Mississippi River.
